Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

The Lignite Museum is only small but there are still a lot of interesting displays. During lignite mining many traces of ancient cultures and old settlements are unearthed. The necklace on the right consists of 165 droplet shaped ambers and would have been a funerary gift in a woman's grave.
